Hamstring Strain

Strains are common in all sports, especially ones where sprinting is involved.

Injury to the hamstring and quadriceps are very common. They range from a complete rupture of the muscle to small micro tears that the athlete will probably not notice at the time of injury.

Muscle strains are graded 1, 2 or 3 depending on the severity of the damage done. It is important you understand what damage has been done so you can treat the injury correctly.
