Community Rehab is participating in the Bowl-A-Thon for Big Brothers and Sisters. This is a great opportunity to for us to have fun, raise money for a good cause, and show your "mad skills" on the bowling lanes. It is at Maplewood Lanes on 102nd and Maple again this year. The event is on Thursday May 2nd at 6pm.

The safety and health summit is put on by the Nebraska Safety Council. It is a 2 day event with educational seminars on safety and injury prevention and will be held at the LaVista Convention Center.

Luke Collin, DPT, ATC, CSCS
Luke is a native of York, Nebraska. He received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from the University of Northern Iowa in 2005. Following this, Luke attended the university of Iowa where he received his Doctorate of Physical Thearpy in 2007.
Staff at Community Rehab will be presenting taping techniques of the lower extremity at our Millard location from 8:00-9:30 a.m. This will be a lecture/lab combination to allow time to practice with instructor supervision.

Everyone at Community Rehab Physical Therapy is helping to raise money to help make Christmas a little better for those in need. We are raising money each week and at the end of the season we will do a corporate match and sponsor families for Christmas.
The entire professional staff at Community Rehab Physical Therpay has gone through specific training for treatment of Frozen Shoulder. This new technique has proven o be quicker, less painful, and more effective then traditional treatments. Please stop into any of our clinics to learn more on this exciting new method to heal frozen shoulders.
When you are done with your formal physical therapy program, Community Rehab offers an extension program that allows you to continue with your exercsie program with the supervision of an exercise specialist. We will work with you in your home or gym to develop a specific program that will help maintain your level of activity and increase your strength and function when you no longer need direct physical therapy supervison.
